Shared language
Clear definitions for the systems we build and explain.
Shared language makes complex systems easier to use. This glossary defines recurring terms used across Mindset Media Group research, tools, products, and editorial analysis.
Core systems terms.
- Agentic AI
- AI configured to perform multi-step work through tools or actions rather than only produce a conversational answer. See AI Governance & Verification.
- An evergreen page responsible for explaining a broad subject and connecting its supporting articles, tools, products, and related systems.
- Canonical URL
- The preferred URL declared for a piece of content when duplicate or alternate URL paths may exist.
- Content provenance
- Information about where a piece of content came from, how it was created or changed, and what evidence supports it.
- Contribution margin
- The portion of revenue left after variable costs. In the pricing calculator it is a planning input, not a guaranteed profit margin.
- Creator monetization
- The systems used to convert creator attention or expertise into revenue through channels such as sponsorships, affiliates, commerce, products, services, or publishing.
- Digital product
- A product delivered digitally, such as a guide, template, system, file, course, or other non-physical resource.
- Entity graph
- A structured representation of named entities and relationships, such as an organization, founder, website, article, product, or publisher.
- Information gain
- The useful value a page adds beyond repeating commonly available information: original evidence, synthesis, decisions, examples, calculations, or clearer structure.
- Internal linking
- Links between pages on the same site that help people and crawlers understand hierarchy, relationships, and next steps.
- ISBN
- International Standard Book Number: a unique identifier for a specific title or edition from a specific publisher. Different editions and formats generally require separate ISBNs.
- Knowledge management
- The discipline of maintaining reliable source material, versions, ownership, retrieval, and context so people and systems can use information correctly.
- Search intent
- The underlying task or need behind a query, such as learning, comparing, acting, or navigating to a known destination.
- Structured data
- Machine-readable markup that describes entities and relationships using a defined vocabulary such as Schema.org.
- A site's coherent body of useful coverage around a subject, supported by strong hub pages, relevant supporting content, internal relationships, and evidence.
- Usage rights
- Permission for a brand or buyer to reuse creator content beyond the original organic deliverable. Scope and duration can materially affect commercial value.
- Workflow
- A defined sequence of inputs, decisions, actions, controls, and acceptance criteria used to move work from request to completed result.
- Claim provenance
- A visible record describing what kind of evidence supports a claim, which source has authority, what is first-party evidence versus interpretation, when the claim was reviewed, and what the evidence does not establish. See Editorial & Research Methodology.
- Evidence class
- A category describing how a claim is supported, such as primary-source synthesis, first-party implementation evidence, original research, manufacturer-informed synthesis, legal-source synthesis, or an editorial operating framework.
- The rule that determines which source should control when multiple records or explanations conflict. For update-sensitive claims, the current primary or destination-system source generally outranks older summaries, cached copies, or commentary.
- First-party evidence
- Evidence generated from Mindset Media Group's own systems, controlled observations, implementation readbacks, or governed research collection. First-party evidence must still state its scope and limitations.
- Evidence boundary
- A statement of what a piece of evidence can establish and what it cannot. For example, a successful implementation readback can prove that a change existed at validation time without proving that the change caused higher rankings or revenue.
- Destination-system verification
- Confirming the result of a consequential action by reading the actual target system after the write, publication, deployment, or mutation instead of assuming success from the command or intermediate tool response. See AI Governance & Verification.
- Search discoverability
- The system of making useful, intent-matched content technically accessible, clearly organized, internally connected, source-identifiable, and understandable to people and search systems. See Search & Discoverability Systems.
- Creator operating stack
- A connected creator system that handles demand intelligence, production, distribution, measurement, and monetization or audience ownership as coordinated functions rather than isolated apps. See Creator Platform Systems.
- Publication gate
- The explicit evidence, quality, sample, review, limitation, or validation conditions that must pass before a study result, benchmark, publication, or system claim is treated as publishable. See Research & Data Center.
- Validation gate
- An explicit check that must pass before a workflow, asset, publication, or system change is treated as complete.
