Publishing control
Check whether a publishing change points to a new ISBN.
Not every book change needs a new ISBN. This decision tool translates official ISBN guidance into a quick preflight for common revision scenarios.

Guidance—
Select the changes and check.
This is a publishing workflow aid, not legal advice. U.S. publishers should verify edge cases with the U.S. ISBN Agency; publishers elsewhere should use their national ISBN agency.
Source standard.
The International ISBN Agency states that revised editions, changes of format, title, language, or publisher generally require a new ISBN. The U.S. ISBN Agency states that minor typo corrections do not and that each format or binding should have its own ISBN.
